10,000 Pucks Challenge
Hudson Hockey is excited to offer a summer 10,000 Pucks Challenge to help players build shooting habits, improve skills, and have fun working toward prizes. The challenge runs from June 1, 2026 through August 31, 2026. Players should aim to shoot 10,000 pucks or more during that time, which works out to about 100 shots per day over the summer.
How it Works
We are using a free online shot-tracking website so players can record their shots and see how the rest of the association is doing. To be eligible for the Hudson Hockey challenge, players must use the website linked in the registration button below and must be connected to the correct “Hudson Hockey Association” level.
Players may begin tracking their shots right away, but only shots taken between June 1 and August 31, 2026 will count toward Hudson Hockey’s 10,000 Pucks Challenge.
Getting Started
Getting started
- Click the Player Registration Link button and create or log in to your account on the shot-tracking website.
- Make sure your player is linked to the correct “Hudson Hockey Association” level to be eligible for the challenge.
- Begin logging shots each time your player practices shooting at home, at the rink, or during off-ice training.
- Keep tracking throughout the summer so your player can monitor progress toward the 10,000-shot goal.
Awards
On September 1, all challenge data will be collected and reviewed. All players who shoot 5,000 pucks or more during the official challenge period will have their name listed on the Hudson Hockey 10,000 Pucks Challenge wall sign at the rink and all players who shoot 10,000 pucks or more will receive a t-shirt in addition to having their name added to the sign. We will award a $250 gift certificate to St. Croix Sports to the the top player (one boy and one girl) that shoot the most pucks during the challenge.
