Hudson Officials – 2026-27 Season Information
Welcome to the 2026-27 hockey season! Whether you're a returning official or just getting started, we're excited to have you officiating for Hudson Hockey Association.
My name is Nate Martin, and I'm honored to serve as Hudson Hockey's Referee-in-Chief. My goal is to support our officials, promote professionalism, and provide a positive experience for everyone on and off the ice. I look forward to working with all of you and making this a great season!

2026-27 USA Hockey Registration
Registration for the 2026-27 USA Hockey Officiating Program opened May 1, 2026.
Registration remains open through November 20, 2026, with seminars continuing through approximately December 15, 2026.
All officials must complete all registration requirements by December 31, 2026, including:
USA Hockey registration
- Seminar attendance
- Online education modules
- Rules exercise
- SafeSport training (if required)
- Background screening (if required)
Returning officials who hold a valid 2025-26 card and crest may continue officiating through November 30, 2026. Beginning December 1, 2026, officials must have completed their 2026-27 registration requirements and received their new USA Hockey card and crest to continue officiating USA Hockey games.
We encourage everyone to register and complete your requirements early. Seminars begin during the summer and often fill quickly.
Important Change for Level 1 Officials
Beginning with the 2026-27 season, USA Hockey has implemented mandatory level advancement for eligible officials.
Officials who are 16 years of age or older and completed last season as a Level 1 Official are now required to register as a Level 2 Official.
This change is intended to promote continued development and provide additional educational opportunities as officials gain experience.
