IMPORTANT REMINDERS

**Reminder - we are the ice this Friday and not Saturday**

IT HAS BEEN DECIDED THAT WE WILL HAVE OUR FIRST GAMES THIS FRIDAY, DEC 9.

The coaches will be getting some Goalie gear and will let players who want to try it out take turns.

***URGENT***

Back on November 6th I sent out an email regarding several things, one of which was Concessions Weeks and what had been assigned.

WE ARE CURRENTLY IN ONE OF OUR WEEKS and there a LOTS of openings that need filling especially this weekend as we host our first Tournament. I will copy and paste below what I sent out. PLEASE GO TO DIBS AND SIGN UP AS SOON AS POSSIBLE. Thanks!

(From email Nov 6)

5. A.  WE are ALL required to provide 25 volunteer hours per player registration with a family max of 50 hours. Each set of 25 includes a required minimum of 5 hours in Concession or Arena Support with a family max of 10 hours. This is how we maintain affordable fees for participation in our association. (I will attach a copy of our Volunteer Policy to this email for your reference.) It is important you look at your calendars and get signed up for those hours on DIBS as soon as possible. You will need to log in to SportsEngine (on the HHA webpage) and then click "DIBS". YOU CAN ALWAYS DO MORE THAN THE MINIMUM!

B. As parents we will be called upon for volunteering during our players' time on the ice. We will be looking for volunteers to run the Time Clock on the game days. It is super easy and fun. However, we do not accrue volunteer hours for this. We will also need a volunteer who has been trained on the Zamboni to clean the ice after each time on the ice. THESE hours are included in volunteer hours and you will need to log them in the Zamboni log. (Zamboni training is MONDAY 11/7)

C. Every year EACH team is assigned a Concession Week. This means that during that assigned week if no one has signed up for a time slot, it is that team's responsibility to fill it. So, we look at DIBS and see what is open and sign up for it. Usually there are 2 teams for each week so don't worry there is a large pool to pull from, but we need to do our parts. If you have any questions, please feel free to ask. I know some of you are new to hockey or to our association.

D. I have the assignments:

Level 2-Huskies:  January 23-January 29, 2017

Level 2-Mavericks: January 9-January 15, 2017

Level 2-Tigers: February 13-February 19, 2017 and January 2-January 8, 2017

Level 2-Bulldogs:  December 5-December 11 and December 26-Janury 1, 2017

If you have any questions please contact me.

Thanks!

See you at the RINK!
