Notice of Special Membership Meeting

A special meeting of the Hudson Hockey Association Membership will be held on Monday, September 26, 2022, at 6 PM in the upstairs viewing area of Gornick Arena.  This meeting will be to present to our members a professionally created, updated HHA Brand/family of logos and the information behind this design initiative. The Board of Directors has reviewed and approved this brand update to be implemented with membership approval.  

While it is common for brands to be refreshed/updated over time, our current HHA logo also has some challenges associated with it. For example, it only exists in one format (square shape) which doesn’t address some traditional and digital application needs. It also is not trademarked/fully owned by HHA. Finally, there were no guidelines developed for how the current logo should/should not be used.  

Updating our brand at this time also allows us to save costs as much of our signage is already scheduled to be updated with construction to join the rinks. If approved by membership, the updated brand family will be implemented over the course of the upcoming year and a set of guidelines detailing their use will be developed and released to membership.  

This will be the first membership vote under our new HHA Bylaws. The updated bylaws allow for proxy voting. If you wish to review the bylaws, you can find them on our website HERE.
