Generally, the Hudson Hockey Board of Directors meets on the 4th Monday of every month at 6pm in the upstairs of Gornick Arena.  Members are welcome to join these meetings.

Q: What does the Board of Directors do?

 

 

A: During the months of April through September, the Hudson Hockey Association Board of Directors are extremely busy preparing for the up-coming season.  These months are used to prepare for registration, try-outs, team sizing, formation of committees, budget planning, implementation of policy/procedures, fundraising, etc., etc.  This time frame is also when our Arena Management Board (AMB—Committee in charge of the overall operation of the Gornick and Raider arenas) completes all maintenance and/or improvements required in each rink in order to keep them operating at their optimum capacity.  During the regular hockey season, October through March, the Board of Directors monitors existing program progress and the creation of teams, votes on committee recommendations to continue to support existing or new programs to further develop the hockey program and players, and begins planning for the upcoming season.
